While strut bars and braces provide exceptional support against chassis flex, on BMWs like the e46 they are a solution to another common enemy. The e46 is made of this sheet metal that can crack and tear under stress. Even the installation of coilover suspension can cause these failures. Strut bars offer an extra support to the towers preventing them from failing. Recommended on all applications, street or race!
